The way this world is going is not for us": Elderly couple left heartbreaking note before double suicide Source : The mirror  Couple Kathleen Howell and David Howell Drove to a place where they loved and committed suicide together. Before committing suicide it was said that the married couple treated themselves to some wine. The paramedics declared them both dead at the scene and when it came to searching their house the couple had carefully prepared everything to be found after their death. The couple had unplugged all electrical devices ,emptied and defrosted the freezer. The couple left a note with details of their solicitors which said that they cancelled their direct debits and had paid there council tax in advanced. Shocking pictures of 15-year-old bullying victim's face released after violent attack in South Wales Source: Independent A family Of a 15 year old boy have released pictures of a boy who was attacked when he got off the bus in South Wales. The boy who has not been named was taken into hospital with a suspected broken jaw. The police are investigating into the incident and arrested a 17 year old be in connection with the attack but he was later on released on bail. The pictures shown were published by the boys family to appeal to any witnesses.  I chose this story because I think some people are just so heartless and cruel. How can someone beat up someone bad that they break their jaw. Also when I saw the pictures I was truly shocked .I can't imagine the pain he must be going through. 5 year old school boy dies after chocking on his lunch in school Source: The Mirror 5 year old Theodore Sylvestre died after chocking on his lunch at Anlaby primary school. It has been said that the teachers made an attempt to save the child but he died shortly after arriving at the hospital ,paramedics also made an attempt to save him at the scene before rushing him to the hospital. The head teacher of Anlaby primary school stated"The whole school community is deeply saddened by this tragic event and the thoughts of everyone connected with the school are with the child's family." Theodores death is not being treated as suspicious. I chose this story because when I saw this I found it quite upsetting for his parents because they took there child off to school knowing that they would see them after school not thinking that anything bad would happen , so for them to not be able to see there child again is truly heart breaking. In this show we see the Yazidi women prepare to fight Isis along side the Men. In the documentary we see families tell heart breaking stories about when they where captured and tortured by Isis. I think the target audience may be towards people that may want to join the war, people of the western world. Another potential audience may be Stacey Dooley fans who follow her work. As for representation it's covers issues which are war, rape and extremism and also regional and national identity, gender and age. Row breaks out after four-year-old told not to wear hijab to Catholic school Source: Birmingham Mail A Roman catholic school has angered many people due to the fact that they didn't allow a four year old Muslim girl to wear a headscarf to school. It is said that St Clares school in Hemsworth have a very strict uniform policy which includes no headwear or headscarf's. The school told the parents to respect there policy. The girls father went and told the Birmingham's city council's labour cabinet member of equalities, which they then wrote to the head teacher saying how there policy goes against the equalities act . Reggie Yates The Insider Reggie yates in a Texan jail Documentary In this documentary we see Reggie spend a week in a Bexar county jail in Texas where he eats , sleeps drink , bath and also works alongside with the inmates where he talks to them about why there are there and how they pass time. During his time at the jail he meets several people with different reasons to why there in jail because he wanted to find out what life in prison is like and what it does to you. During the programme we see him meet 19 year old inmate Alex who has been arrested for having a small amount of Marijuana which he was using to try relief himself from his mental illness . We then see him break down and almost attempts to take his life but Reggie gives him a few words of wisdom and he doesn't go through with it and goes to talk to therapist. Boy, 13, found dead after moving from school at centre of 'bullying' row , 13 Year old Arin Lyth 15 year old Harry Gray Source: Mirror Arin Lyth was a 13 year old boy that had recently moved from Northfield school in Billingham, Teesside after being repeatedly bullied. He was the 3rd pupil at from his school to die after falling victim from the bulling the other pupils names were Harry Gray aged 15 and Elton Harland age 13. Harry Gray was found by his mother hanging from outside his bedroom. It was rumoured that someone had threatened to get him stabbed. The body of Arin Lyth was found in an area near Billingham. Elton tweeted a tribute to Harry and then when two days past he took his own life. I chose this story because I think that its horrible that people would bully someone so much causing them to take there own life, I think to myself what did these poor boys do to deserve such torment causing them to just give up on life.
