Cops given cash to probe ‘important’ new lead that Maddie was snatched by people trafficking gang

Detectives following tip off that toddler was snatched by child trafficking group in what senior cops admit is final attempt at finding her.

Madeleine McCann is daughter of Kate McCann and Gerry who was kidnapped whilst on holiday in Portugal in 2007. Mother Kate and father Gerry have never stopped searching for their child.
A source said: “This is an important new line of inquiry which could provide an explanation on whether Madeleine was abducted and transported away. This new lead could suggest that madeleine may still be alive.

I chose this story because I remember hearing about this story back when it first appeared on the news and thought that the child would be found . Now ten years later and they still haven't found their child which is quite sad and some part of me thinks why are they still searching cause its been ten years . However I do remember reading an news article on a kidnapping of Amanda berry who was kidnapped and held captive for 10 years and they came home alive although very traumatized. So they may be hope for the McCann's.

    Great article, you compared her story to another. You could have included more information about both kidnappings and the write what it represents.

London zoo gorilla broke enclosure glass twice before escape I recently found this story from the Guardian about a gorilla called kumbuka that escaped the enclosure at London zoo on Thursday evening it was reported that he broke out of his area and was later tranquillised by the vets and was brought back to his area. It has been reported that the london zoo have said that they are going to carry out a full investigation which has been described as a minor accident. Sources have stated that the cage door was left open. I chose this story because I usually here about animals escaping the zoo in movies and to here that a real life zoo animal escaped the zoo is quite astonishing. I also think that the zoo keepers should be more careful and should make sure that they close the cage, luckily for them no one was hurt.
