During my research on teen thrillers I have looked at various things such as posters, DVD covers, trailers and films through the research I learnt that thriller is where "extraordinary things happen to ordinary people" which I confused with horror at first but the pure difference between a thriller and a horror is that a thriller is more psychological whereas a horror contains more blood and gore. I have chose to do a print base and not a visual however I did look at posters as well as films and trailers so that it could give me more inspiration for my DVD cover and poster and so that it would allow me to understand thrillers more. For the first part of my research I looked at the conventions of a thriller such as who are the target audience which is us teens, what makes a good thriller and I also presented examples of thriller films. London zoo gorilla broke enclosure glass twice before escape I recently found this story from the Guardian about a gorilla called kumbuka that escaped the enclosure at London zoo on Thursday evening it was reported that he broke out of his area and was later tranquillised by the vets and was brought back to his area. It has been reported that the london zoo have said that they are going to carry out a full investigation which has been described as a minor accident. Sources have stated that the cage door was left open. I chose this story because I usually here about animals escaping the zoo in movies and to here that a real life zoo animal escaped the zoo is quite astonishing. I also think that the zoo keepers should be more careful and should make sure that they close the cage, luckily for them no one was hurt.

I chose this story because although I am not a Kim K fan , I think it is disrespectful for people to make fun of someone else's ordeal in order to just make money. Inside man Clive Owen as Dalton Russell Dalton Russell played the antagonist. My opinion changed about him because at the start of the movie we see him and his group attempt to rob a bank but later on it is revealed that the guns he had where fake and that he didn't steal any money or kill anyone. His primary goal was to take back the jewels that didn't even belong to Arthur in the first place. Therefore I believe that he wasn't really the antagonist and that Arthur was the real antagonist. The obstacles that where in his way where: Madeleine (Jodie foster)- she was sent by Arthur to go and get the things that where in the lock box which was the envelope and the diamonds Arthur ( Christopher plumber ) - He attempted to get rid of lock box by paying madeleine to go to the bank and making the items disappear. The producers who have edited has used a man and a women at the front of the cover. The title gone girl seems to be disappearing into the clouds which could relate to a girl that may disappear i think that the producers have used the opportunity of the clouds and the title well. The whole page is quite plain with little colour, maybe to highlight the title and the main image.  The trailer starts off as calm and it shows ordinary things happening at first and then tension developed. The trailer gave away a lot of the plot so as the audience we didn't feel hat enticed and drawn in to go and watch the movie. There didn't seem like there was a lot of build up either. The producers targeted the teenage audience by using a basic storyline of a missing person which usually people find interesting e.g the movie 'Taken" was a really big hit in the movie industry.
