Clive Owen as Dalton Russell

Dalton Russell played the antagonist. My opinion changed about him because at the start of the movie we see him and his group attempt to rob a bank but later on it is revealed that the guns he had where fake and that he didn't steal any money or kill anyone. His primary goal was to take back the jewels that didn't even belong to Arthur in the first place. Therefore I believe that he wasn't really the antagonist and that Arthur was the real antagonist.


The obstacles that where in his way where:
Madeleine (Jodie foster)- she was sent by Arthur to go and get the things that where in the lock box which was the envelope and the diamonds

Arthur ( Christopher plumber ) - He attempted to get rid of lock box by paying madeleine to go to the bank and making the items disappear.








Denzel Washington as Detective Keith Frazier

This character main purpose was to get the hostages out of the bank home and safe. however there was some obstacles in his way such as Dalton and his clang.

Throughout the film Frazier is portrayed as the hero.






Christopher Plummber as Arthur case

Arthur is the owner of the bank. which he had built from money that he had earn from working with the Nazis.

Looking at the Propp theory I would say that Arthur is the blocker because he tried to prevent Dalton from carrying out  his tasks by sending Madeleine to go and get his things from his safety deposit box so that his past would not come back to haunt him.

First impressions: At first Arthur seemed to be a nice humble man who looked like he wouldn't harm a fly.

London zoo gorilla broke enclosure glass twice before escape I recently found this story from the Guardian about a gorilla called kumbuka that escaped the enclosure at London zoo on Thursday evening it was reported that he broke out of his area and was later tranquillised by the vets and was brought back to his area. It has been reported that the london zoo have said that they are going to carry out a full investigation which has been described as a minor accident. Sources have stated that the cage door was left open. I chose this story because I usually here about animals escaping the zoo in movies and to here that a real life zoo animal escaped the zoo is quite astonishing. I also think that the zoo keepers should be more careful and should make sure that they close the cage, luckily for them no one was hurt.
