The Insider Reggie yates in a Texan jail Documentary

In this documentary we see Reggie spend a week in a Bexar county jail in Texas where he eats , sleeps drink , bath and also works alongside with the inmates where he talks to them about why there are there and how they pass time.

During his time at the jail he meets several people with different reasons to why there in jail because he wanted to find out what life in prison is like and what it does to you. During the programme we see him meet 19 year old inmate Alex who has been arrested for having a small amount of Marijuana which he was using to try relief himself from his mental illness . We then see him break down and almost attempts to take his life but Reggie gives him a few words of wisdom and he doesn't go through with it and goes to talk to therapist.

I found this documentary quite interesting because I got to see life on the inside. And got to hear about people stories and why they where in there in the first place. I think the main purpose of Reggie doing this was to show people how tough prison life can be and how you should stay out of trouble.

London zoo gorilla broke enclosure glass twice before escape I recently found this story from the Guardian about a gorilla called kumbuka that escaped the enclosure at London zoo on Thursday evening it was reported that he broke out of his area and was later tranquillised by the vets and was brought back to his area. It has been reported that the london zoo have said that they are going to carry out a full investigation which has been described as a minor accident. Sources have stated that the cage door was left open. I chose this story because I usually here about animals escaping the zoo in movies and to here that a real life zoo animal escaped the zoo is quite astonishing. I also think that the zoo keepers should be more careful and should make sure that they close the cage, luckily for them no one was hurt.
