Crash is a 2004 drama film written and directed by Paul Haggis. The films show different racial events and also shows how people may stereotypes and judge a book by its cover, an example of this is when the white police man shoots the black man because he thought that he was going to take out a gun.   During film we see the attitudes of the characters develop throughout the whole movie the end up at the end of the movie seeing life in a different light. The film crash has a circular narrative structure because the film began with a crash and ended in a crash. This scene shows officer Ryan pulling over black couple Christine and Cameron for "Speeding" this scene also shows an act of racism and discrimination because the officer only stopped them when he saw that they where black. This scene also showed officer Ryan inappropriately touch Christine. In this scene we see a different side to officer Ryan, we see that he risks his own life to save the women

Black man is washed whiter in China’s racist detergent advert. Source: The Guardian The advert shows a black man being washed in the wash machine by the Asian lady who shoves the liquid detergent into his mouth and places him into the washing machine which when he has finished being washed he comes out as a white Asian man, This ad literally shows a black man being washed white which is 100% racist in my opinion.  The Company for the racist detergent ad have defended there crazy content and have said that people have  just over reacted, they also stated “We meant nothing but to promote the product, and we had never thought about the issue of racism.” . The Huffington post has said that “Qiaobi Detergent Ad Might Be The Most Racist TV Commercial Ever Made.” I came across this ad while scrolling through my Instagram feed and when I watched it I was really shocked, because at first I thought that it was a joke because you can't advertise something so racist like this

There are a variety of shot sizes such as a long shot, very long shot, close up e.c.t these different shot sizes are used to capture different moments, for example as a extreme close up is used to capture detail such as facial expressions.  Mid shot- shows the surroundings and the detail of what the person is wearing from the stomach upwards. Samantha suffers from brittle bone disease and has been wheel chair bounded. She stated that " I didn't expect that at age 30 I would be at the end of this hate speech. But I have been bullied for most my life". I chose this article because I think that the statement that has been made about how they were put off ever eating chocolate because they saw it been advertised by a disabled person is really disrespectful, because yeah she may be disabled but at the end of the day

New Zealanders are used to earthquakes because the country is literally above the notorious Ring of Fire, the dots shown in the images show where earthquakes happen frequently and the volcanic eruptions that circles literally the whole entire Pacific rim.

For my media course work I have decided to do print based on thrillers which I will create a DVD cover and a poster, because I feel like designing a poster will more suited to me because I have some basic photography and photoshop editing skills.

Tesco Bank customers lose money to 'fraudsters' Source: BBC News Customers have been noticing that money has been going missing from there accounts which has left a numerous amount of complaints being made. The company have noticed the suspicious activity on some customer accounts. Tesco bank has stated that any money that has been withdrawn from there bank will be fully refunded within 24 business hours.    Alan Baxter has stated that 600 pounds disappeared from his bank leaving him with only £21.88 in his bank account. Many other customers have complained to Tesco bank about how they woke up one morning to learn that there money had just vanished into thin air. I chose this article because I feel that people should be more careful when it comes to money because luckily for these people they are getting there money back, which I only think that there giving the money back because there was a group of them that had there money taken out of there bank.

During my research on teen thrillers I have looked at various things such as posters, DVD covers, trailers and films through the research I learnt that thriller is where "extraordinary things happen to ordinary people" which I confused with horror at first but the pure difference between a thriller and a horror is that a thriller is more psychological whereas a horror contains more blood and gore. I have chose to do a print base and not a visual however I did look at posters as well as films and trailers so that it could give me more inspiration for my DVD cover and poster and so that it would allow me to understand thrillers more. For the first part of my research I looked at the conventions of a thriller such as who are the target audience which is us teens, what makes a good thriller and I also presented examples of thriller films. London zoo gorilla broke enclosure glass twice before escape I recently found this story from the Guardian about a gorilla called kumbuka that escaped the enclosure at London zoo on Thursday evening it was reported that he broke out of his area and was later tranquillised by the vets and was brought back to his area. It has been reported that the london zoo have said that they are going to carry out a full investigation which has been described as a minor accident. Sources have stated that the cage door was left open. I chose this story because I usually here about animals escaping the zoo in movies and to here that a real life zoo animal escaped the zoo is quite astonishing. I also think that the zoo keepers should be more careful and should make sure that they close the cage, luckily for them no one was hurt.

I chose this story because although I am not a Kim K fan , I think it is disrespectful for people to make fun of someone else's ordeal in order to just make money. Inside man Clive Owen as Dalton Russell Dalton Russell played the antagonist. My opinion changed about him because at the start of the movie we see him and his group attempt to rob a bank but later on it is revealed that the guns he had where fake and that he didn't steal any money or kill anyone. His primary goal was to take back the jewels that didn't even belong to Arthur in the first place. Therefore I believe that he wasn't really the antagonist and that Arthur was the real antagonist. The obstacles that where in his way where: Madeleine (Jodie foster)- she was sent by Arthur to go and get the things that where in the lock box which was the envelope and the diamonds Arthur ( Christopher plumber ) - He attempted to get rid of lock box by paying madeleine to go to the bank and making the items disappear. The producers who have edited has used a man and a women at the front of the cover. The title gone girl seems to be disappearing into the clouds which could relate to a girl that may disappear i think that the producers have used the opportunity of the clouds and the title well. The whole page is quite plain with little colour, maybe to highlight the title and the main image.  The trailer starts off as calm and it shows ordinary things happening at first and then tension developed. The trailer gave away a lot of the plot so as the audience we didn't feel hat enticed and drawn in to go and watch the movie. There didn't seem like there was a lot of build up either. The producers targeted the teenage audience by using a basic storyline of a missing person which usually people find interesting e.g the movie 'Taken" was a really big hit in the movie industry.   NHS 111 worker whose baby nearly died of meningitis says she battled doctors who told her it was 'just a cold' Alison Grocock mother of John grocock, became concerned when her 4 week old child became concerned when john kept on falling asleep and later became unresponsive.
